Downdraft Rollable Kilns
Our Rollable kilns are designed to be easily moved in and out of storage, are great for home studios with limited space, or an addition to any working studio. Able to do reduction firings without the cost of running gas lines and installing venting. Built on 4 swivel casters with locks, the kiln can be stored, moved, loaded and fired with ease. The burner system is designed to run on propane tanks. The kilns come with gas hose equipped with a regulator & PSi gauge that easily attaches to the burner system and propane tank.
The kilns fire to cone in 6-7 hours and are very responsive to adjustments for temperature gains & holds. The floor and first 7.5” of wall are built with 2600Ëšsoft brick for increased durability in these high heat areas. The remaining areas of wall, floor, roof and door are lined with 6” of 2300 ËšInswool making for incredibly efficient firings.
